
Daniel Farrar - Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Farrar is responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of the company. He brings more than 25 years of corporate management and strategic development experience with venture-backed software companies, private equity firms and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining ezRez in 2011, Daniel was chief executive officer at Openlane, a privately held venture-backed SaaS provider. Previously, Daniel was a general partner with private equity firm Morgenthaler and held various positions with GE Capital, including President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Fleet Services and GE Capital Fleet Services Europe. Daniel has also held board positions with multiple venture-backed companies, including Aegis Group, Comm-Works Holdings, Formed Fiber Technologies and GreenRoad Technologies. Daniel received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and his MBA from Harvard University.

John Swanciger - Chief Commercial Officer
As Chief Commercial Officer, John Swanciger is responsible for product marketing, sales, business development and partner relations for ezRez. Prior to joining the company in 2006, John was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. where he oversaw global web strategy, online marketing and web partnerships for all Starwood brands. From 2000 to 2004, John was with Hotwire.com, an Expedia company, where he served as a member of the website’s launch team and held various management roles in which he was responsible for spearheading a number of new product lines. He previously held management consulting roles with Accenture and Cambridge Technology Partners. John received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Boston College.

Owen Tran - Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer, Owen Tran leads the company’s software engineering and QA teams. Prior to joining ezRez in 2007, Owen spent more than five years at Hotwire.com, an Expedia company, where he helped implement the website’s second-generation travel platform and managed several components of the website including the air and packaging verticals. Prior to Hotwire, Owen co-founded a dial-up startup called Merado Software, Inc. in 2001, later acquired by PeoplePC in 2002. He was previously with Intel where he worked on the company’s planning and logistics team supporting a 24/7 global supply chain. Owen received a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Columbia University.

Karen Vergura - Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Karen Vergura is responsible for all finance-related issues for the company. She brings more than 20 years of related experience in both venture backed startups and multi-billion dollar public companies to the ezRez executive team. Prior to joining ezRez in 2008, Karen was vice president of finance at Calypso Technology, a privately held San Francisco-based international financial services software company. Previously, Karen was co-founder and vice president of finance for Nanosys, Inc., a Palo Alto-based nanotechnology company where she was instrumental in the company’s S-1 filing in 2004. She previously held a variety of financial positions at Bay Networks, formerly Wellfleet Communications, a $2 billion internet router company acquired by Nortel Networks. Karen received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Vermont.

Jim O'Brien - Vice President, Business Operations
As Vice President of Business Operations, Jim O'Brien is responsible for new client implementations and account management for existing ezRez customers. He brings more than 12 years experience in high-transaction volume e-commerce operations primarily in SaaS delivery models. Jim is a mid-term venture specialist having assisted several ready-to-scale organizations such as TrueCar, Inc., OPENLANE and The Cobalt Group. He acquired much of his operations know-how at Toyota and practiced his analytical approach at A.T. Kearney as a management consultant. Jim received a bachelor's degree in Philosophy at Wittenberg University and his MBA from Wake Forest University.

Betsy Santos - Vice President, Human Resources
As Vice President of Human Resources for ezRez, Betsy Santos leads the company's efforts in the areas of recruiting, performance management, employee relations, training, corporate culture and benefits. Prior to joining the travel software sector with ezRez in 2007, Betsy spent nine years in various HR and benefits-related roles at Bay Area biotechnology companies including CV Therapeutics, Cepheid and Genentech. Betsy received a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of California, Davis.

Cady Wolf - Vice President, Global Sales
As Vice President of Global Sales, Cady Wolf is responsible for sales and partner relations for ezRez. Prior to joining the company Cady was Vice President of Partner Marketing for Travelocity where she oversaw Travelocity's relationships with hotel, destination, attraction, media, and e-commerce suppliers in North America. Before Travelocity she worked for Preview Travel, Inc. managing their media sales business; and started her sales career working for a niche wholesale ski tour operator, Any Mountain Tours. Cady received a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from Arizona State University, and her Masters from the Harrah College of Hospitality Administration at UNLV. She has completed the executive programs at Southern Methodists University's Cox School of Business, as well as the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. She currently serves on the Vail Resorts Advisory Board, as well as California Polytechnic Institutes RPTA Advisory Council.

Dario Ambrosini - Vice President, Marketing
As Vice President of Marketing, Dario Ambrosini is responsible for marketing strategy and communications. Prior to joining the company in 2009, Dario was responsible for product marketing at Rearden Commerce, a privately held venture-backed SaaS provider. From 2006 to 2008, he held positions in marketing, product management, and business operations at Yahoo! Search Marketing. Previously he was a marketer at American Express OPEN, where he managed co-branded partnerships for small businesses. Dario received a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of California and an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA.

Deren Baker - Vice President, Product
As Vice President of Product, Deren Baker leads ezRez service lines through product management and revenue optimization, targeting efficient and effective growth for ezRez clients. Prior to joining ezRez in 2008, Deren spent six years at Travelocity where he managed marketing services, launched the trip activities line of business and oversaw strategic merchandising initiatives for all Travelocity verticals. Deren started in the travel industry in 2000 at Unexplored, Inc, a niche travel website incubator. Prior to joining the travel sector, Deren was a writer and producer for Citysearch.com and an editor for Triathlete Magazine. Deren received bachelor’s degrees in history and English literature from Vanderbilt University and his MBA from Duke University.

Chris Boyd - Vice President, Product Strategy
As Vice President of Product Stategy, Chris Boyd is responsible for leading the development of the overall product strategy and direction across all business lines. Prior to joining ezRez in 2006, Chris spent 8 years at Travelocity, where he led the launch of Travelocity's loyalty platform, launch of Travelocity's joint venture with Zuji in Asia Pacific, and led the technical integration of both the WCT and PreviewTravel technical integrations. Chris started in the travel industry in 1994, as a systems engineer for an incentive travel arm of Carlson Marketing Group. Chris received a bachelor's degree in economics from University of California.
