Sr. Implementation Analyst

Summary

This role will be responsible for managing multiple software deployments for new and existing clients in an online travel focused SaaS environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, training customers, implementing the ezRez platform, testing, database migration, and provisioning the platform for the customer. Working with both internal and external resources, the successful candidate will manage issues, monitor progress during configuration, manage parallel testing simulation, cutover and operational phases.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead hands-on implementation & deployment aspects of the ezRez platform for new clients in a global SaaS environment.
  • Maintain & support existing client deployments.
  • Gather business requirements & create functional specifications for custom enhancements.
  • Configure ezRez application platform according to customer business and functional requirements.
  • Interact with project managers, suppliers and customers to help them formalize their provisioning and deployment strategy.
  • Provide second level technical support for clients; troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions.
  • Coordinate with business, engineering and IT concerning implementation of related services and functionality interact with the client services manager and customer helpdesk team for hand off after implementation.
  • Work with sales & sales engineering to help sell to potential prospects.
  • Work with Product Management to enable their roadmap of new functionality.

Job Requirements

  • Extensive experience with XML, trouble shooting software, logs and systems.
  • Solid understanding of the entire customer deployment platform, engineering process, including requirement analysis, design, scheduling, implementation, review, quality and issue tracking.
  • Proven track record of delivering results.
  • Excellent working knowledge of XML, http protocol, scripting languages, some systems (Unix, Linux), networks knowledge, HTML, & portal technologies.
  • Strong task management, written & verbal communication and analytical thinking skills.
  • Significant experience working as part of a sales driven deployment team.
  • Ability to review data, summarize key findings and recommend solutions.
  • Bachelors Degree required (BS in computer science preferred).
  • 5+ years deploying ecommerce sites, ASP/MSP and SaaS implementations in a SaaS company.
  • Some travel to client sites (up to 25% time).
